1. Definitions

In these terms:

  • Event means The Drink Show and associated sessions, tastings, masterclasses and exhibitions in NSW.

  • Organiser means Mick Turner

  • Exhibitor means a company or individual accepted by the Organiser to exhibit at the Event.

  • Venue means the location where the Event is held.

2. Acceptance

2.1 Submission of an application form is an offer to exhibit subject to these Terms & Conditions.
2.2 The Organiser may accept or reject any application at its discretion.
2.3 A binding agreement is formed when the Organiser confirms acceptance in writing.

3. Fees & Payment

3.1 Exhibitor fees must be paid by the dates stated on invoices.
3.2 Failure to pay when due may lead to cancellation of your participation without refund.

4. Cancellation

4.1 Cancellations must be notified in writing.
4.2 Refunds (if any) follow this schedule:

  • 60 days before Event - full refund less administration fee

  • 45–60 days - 50% refund

  • <45 days - no refund

5. Stand Allocation

5.1 Stand locations are allocated by the Organiser and may change.
5.2 Exhibitors may not transfer, sublet or share stands without written consent.

*6. Strict Alcohol Sampling Requirements

The Event is centred on alcohol sampling and product engagement - exhibitors must follow all applicable NSW liquor laws:

6.1 Licensing & RSA

  • Exhibitors providing alcohol samples must hold appropriate liquor licences, permits, or be covered by the Organiser’s licence as agreed prior to the Event.

  • All persons serving or dispensing alcohol must hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) competency card and provide copies to the Organiser prior to set-up.

6.2 Sampling Limits & Display

  • Sample sizes are limited to lawful amounts.

  • Exhibitors must supply only pre-approved beverages for sampling, and provide detailed product lists on request.

  • Alcohol samples must be dispensed in suitable vessels and cannot leave the Event site under any circumstances.

  • Bootle sales are permitted.

6.3 Age & Responsible Service

  • The Event is strictly 18+. Exhibitors must support the Organiser in ensuring minors are not served alcohol.

  • Exhibitors must comply with all Responsible Service of Alcohol requirements under the Liquor Act 2007 (NSW) and related regulations.

6.4 Health & Safety

  • Free water must be available near sampling areas.

  • Exhibitors shall monitor intoxication risk and may be asked to cease service to individuals showing signs of over-consumption.

6.5 Non-Compliance

The Organiser reserves the right to suspend or terminate an exhibitor’s sampling activities (or Event participation in serious cases) if NSW liquor laws, RSA protocols, or these conditions are breached.

7. Insurance & Indemnity

7.1 Exhibitors must hold Public Liability Insurance (minimum AUD $10 million) covering alcohol sampling liabilities.
7.2 A Certificate of Currency must be provided on request.
7.3 Exhibitors indemnify the Organiser and Venue against claims arising from their participation, including alcohol-related claims.

8. Workplace Health & Safety

8.1 Exhibitors must comply with all applicable NSW Work Health & Safety laws.
8.2 All equipment and displays must be safe and fit for use.

9. Conduct & Products

9.1 Exhibitors must only display and sample products approved in their application.
9.2 The Organiser may remove products deemed unsafe or inappropriate.
9.3 Unprofessional or unsafe behaviour may lead to removal without refund.

10. Marketing & Media

10.1 The Organiser may photograph and record the Event, including exhibitors.
10.2 Exhibitors grant the Organiser the right to use recordings for promotional purposes without compensation.

11. Property Damage & Loss

11.1 The Organiser and Venue are not liable for theft, loss or damage to exhibitor property.
11.2 Exhibitors are responsible for any damage they cause at the Venue.

12. Force Majeure

12.1 The Organiser is not liable for changes due to circumstances beyond control (e.g., government restrictions, natural events).
12.2 The Organiser may reschedule, relocate, or modify the Event and issue credits or refunds at its discretion.

13. Termination

13.1 The Organiser may terminate an exhibitor’s participation for breach of these Terms & Conditions.
13.2 No refund will be provided where termination is due to misconduct or non-compliance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

15. Acceptance

Participation in the Event constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
