Following the launch of The Drink Show in Newcastle, planning is now underway for a future National event to be presented in Canberra.

As Australia’s capital city, Canberra provides a natural meeting point for producers, trade and consumers from across the country, making it the ideal location for a larger-format event within The Drink Show touring series.

Expressions of interest are now invited from producers, trade, venues and industry partners wishing to be involved in the Canberra event.

Final dates, venue and format will be announced once planning discussions are confirmed.

Why Canberra

Canberra offers a unique opportunity to bring together premium producers from multiple Australian regions within one structured tasting event.

The National Edition is being developed as an expanded showcase featuring:

• Premium Australian wines
• Craft Spirits

As with all Drink Show events, exhibitor numbers will be limited to maintain a balanced floorplan and a high-quality tasting experience for guests.

Submitting an expression of interest does not guarantee participation but allows early access to event announcements and exhibitor allocations once confirmed.

Touring Series Format

The Drink Show operates as a touring state-based series, with only one official event held in each state per year.

Following the NSW Edition in Newcastle, Canberra is being explored as the next location for a larger national gathering bringing together producers and guests from across Australia.

Each edition is developed carefully to ensure strong attendance, balanced exhibitor participation and a premium tasting environment.
