Venue Conditions of Entry
Definitions
Event means 'The Drink Show - NSW Edition' conducted at the Venue.
Organiser means the organiser of the Event.
Manager means Legends Global Pty Ltd as the manager of the Venue, including its agents, staff and authorised representatives.
Patron means any person who enters the Venue at any time, whether as a ticket holder, guest, exhibitor, staff member or contractor.
Venue means Newcastle Racecourse, Broadmeadow NSW, including all buildings, grounds and licensed areas used for the Event.
Conditions of Entry
Entry to the Venue is subject to the following conditions.
Valid Ticket
Patrons entering the Venue must hold a valid ticket for the Event and must present this ticket for scanning at the designated entry points.
The Organiser or Venue may exchange a general admission ticket for a wristband or entry stamp where required for event operations.
Any person attempting to enter the Venue without authorisation or without a valid ticket may be refused entry.
Tickets sold, purchased or used in breach of the ticketing terms may be cancelled without refund and entry refused.
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
The Venue is a licensed premises and the following conditions apply:
• Patrons must be 18 years or older to consume alcohol
• Valid identification may be requested at any time
• Intoxicated or disorderly persons will be refused entry or removed from the Venue
• It is an offence to supply alcohol to a minor
• External alcohol is not permitted to be brought into the Venue
• Alcohol must not be consumed outside licensed areas
• Any takeaway purchases must remain sealed until leaving the Venue
• Consumption of takeaway alcohol within the Venue is not permitted
The Organiser, Venue management and security reserve the right to refuse service of alcohol in accordance with RSA laws.
Tasting Format
The Event is a tasting and discovery event.
Alcohol samples are provided at the discretion of individual exhibitors and may vary in size, availability and type.
Some exhibitors may provide complimentary tastings, while others may require vouchers for certain tastings or premium products.
The purchase of a ticket does not guarantee unlimited tastings, specific products, or participation by any particular exhibitor or drink category.
All service of alcohol is subject to Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) laws and exhibitor discretion.
Security and Bag Checks
For safety and security purposes, Patrons entering the Venue may be subject to bag checks, security screening or visual inspections conducted by authorised staff.
Any person refusing to comply with a reasonable security request may be refused entry.
Prohibited Items
Unless authorised by the Venue Manager or Organiser, Patrons must not bring the following items into the Venue:
• External alcohol or beverages
• Illegal or illicit substances
• Glass bottles, cans or metal containers
• Weapons or dangerous objects
• Drones or remote-controlled devices
• Professional cameras or commercial recording equipment
• Selfie sticks, tripods or monopods
• Aerosol cans or flammable items
• Large bags or backpacks
• Eskies or cooler boxes
• Banners, flags or promotional materials without approval
• Any item deemed unsafe, illegal or inappropriate by the Venue Manager
The Venue reserves the right to confiscate prohibited items or refuse entry.
Behaviour and Conduct
Patrons must behave in a responsible and respectful manner at all times.
The Organiser, Venue Manager or security staff may refuse entry to, or remove from the Venue, any Patron who:
• is intoxicated or disorderly
• behaves in a threatening, unsafe or offensive manner
• fails to follow reasonable directions from event staff or security
• enters restricted areas without authorisation
The Event is not an all-inclusive drinking event.
Tastings are sample-sized only and may be limited or restricted at the discretion of exhibitors
No refunds will be provided to Patrons removed from the Venue due to misconduct.
Photography and Media
By entering the Venue, Patrons acknowledge that photography, filming and audio recording may occur during the Event.
The Organiser and its partners may use images or footage captured at the Event for promotional, marketing or media purposes.
Personal Risk
Patrons enter the Venue at their own risk.
The Organiser, Venue Manager and their respective staff, contractors and agents accept no responsibility for loss, damage or injury sustained while attending the Event except where required under applicable law.
Event Changes
The Organiser reserves the right to modify aspects of the Event including:
• program schedule
• exhibitors or presenters
• floor layout
• session times
Such changes do not entitle the Patron to compensation.
Exhibitor & Product Availability
The Event features a range of wine, spirits, beer and other beverages; however, the Organiser does not guarantee the attendance of any specific exhibitor, brand or drink category.
Exhibitors determine their own products, quantities and tasting conditions, and items may sell out during the Event.
Changes to exhibitors, products or program content do not entitle Patrons to a refund.
Refusal of Entry
The Organiser and Venue Manager reserve the right to refuse admission or remove any Patron from the Venue where deemed necessary for safety, compliance or operational reasons.
Acceptance of Conditions
By entering the Venue, Patrons acknowledge and accept these Conditions of Entry.
