Ticketing Terms & Conditions

1. Who You Are Buying From

This website is owned and operated by Mick Turner trading as The Phoenix Foundation (“We”, “Us”, “Our”).

Tickets purchased through this website are sold by The Drink Show.

By purchasing tickets, you (“You”, “Your”, “Purchaser”, or “Attendee”) agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing or purchasing tickets through this website, You agree to be bound by:

Tickets are also subject to:

b. Venue Conditions of Entry
c. Any conditions displayed at the event

Failure to comply with these conditions may result in refusal of entry or removal from the event.

3. Event Eligibility

The Drink Show is a licensed event.

• Attendees must be 18 years or older to attend
• Valid photo identification may be requested at any time
• Entry may be refused where age or identification requirements cannot be verified

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) laws apply.

4. Conditions of Sale

All ticket prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

Ticket sales remain available until allocations are exhausted or sales are closed.

We reserve the right to:

• limit ticket quantities
• refuse ticket sales
• cancel purchases suspected of being fraudulent

Tickets will be issued via the delivery method selected at the time of purchase.

5. Ticket Use

Each ticket admits one person to the event session specified on the ticket.

Tickets must be presented for scanning upon entry.

Lost, stolen or damaged tickets may not be replaced.

Entry is subject to venue capacity and compliance with event conditions.

6. Ticket Resale & Commercial Use

Tickets may not be:

• resold for commercial purposes
• offered for sale at a premium
• used in competitions, promotions or advertising

without the prior written consent of the Organiser.

Tickets sold or transferred in breach of these terms may be cancelled without refund.

7. Event Variations

The Drink Show is a live event and circumstances may change.

We reserve the right to:

• add, withdraw or substitute exhibitors
• modify event programs or features
• vary event times or schedules
• adjust venue layouts or capacities

Such changes do not entitle the ticket holder to a refund.

8. Photography & Media

By attending the event, you acknowledge that photography, video and audio recording may occur.

You consent to your image, likeness or voice being used for marketing, promotional or media purposes without compensation.

9. Refunds & Exchanges

Refunds are provided in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Refund requests may be accepted up to the refund deadline specified for the event.

After this deadline, tickets are non-refundable, except where required by law.

If an event is rescheduled, tickets will remain valid for the new date.

Approved refunds will be limited to the face value of the ticket only.

Booking fees, processing fees and third-party service fees may not be refundable.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

10. Payment Limitations

Refunds can only be processed back to the original payment method used at purchase.

Where temporary, prepaid, or disposable payment methods are used, refunds may not be possible unless valid payment details are provided.

11. Event Updates

Any changes, postponements or cancellations will be communicated via:

• the official website
• ticketing platform communications

It is the ticket holder’s responsibility to check for event updates prior to attending.

12. Public Health & Venue Requirements

Attendees must comply with any venue policies or government public health directions in force at the time of the event.

Failure to comply may result in refusal of entry or removal from the venue.

13. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Organiser, venue, exhibitors and associated contractors accept no responsibility for any loss, injury, damage or expense incurred by attendees while attending the event.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

14. Data Security

Payments and personal information are processed via IWannaTicket in accordance with their policies.

If you have concerns regarding payment security, please contact us.

Fraudulent transactions may be investigated.

15. Intellectual Property

All website content including branding, images, design and written materials are protected by copyright.

Unauthorised use, reproduction or distribution is prohibited.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time by publishing revised terms on this website.

The Terms in force at the time of purchase will apply to that transaction.

17. Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

These guarantees apply in addition to any rights outlined in these Terms & Conditions.

18. Responsible Service of Alcohol & Intoxication

The Drink Show operates in accordance with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) laws.

The Organiser, venue management, security personnel and exhibitors reserve the right to:

• refuse the service of alcohol
• refuse entry to the event
• remove any attendee from the venue

where a person is:

• intoxicated
• behaving in a disorderly or unsafe manner
• breaching venue or event conditions
• attempting to supply alcohol to a minor

Attendees removed or refused service under RSA obligations will not be entitled to a refund or compensation.

All decisions made by authorised staff in relation to RSA compliance and patron safety are final.

19. Tasting Format

The Drink Show is a tasting and discovery event.

Alcohol samples provided by exhibitors are sample tasting portions only and quantities, products and availability may vary between exhibitors.

Some exhibitors may offer complimentary tastings, while others may require vouchers for certain tastings, premium pours or limited releases.

Purchase of a ticket does not guarantee unlimited tastings, specific products, or participation by any particular exhibitor or drink category.

All tasting service is subject to Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) requirements and exhibitor discretion

20. Product Availability & Exhibitor Participation

The Drink Show features a range of wine, spirits, beer, RTDs and other beverage categories; however, the Organiser does not guarantee that any specific producer, brand, product or drink category will be present at the event.

Exhibitors determine their own tasting selections, quantities and pricing, and products may sell out during the event.

Program details, exhibitor lists and product offerings are subject to change without notice.

Such changes do not entitle the ticket holder to a refund.
